Not a guru. A life-liver.
I'm Eliana, aka the Soul Mami. Mentor, facilitator, author, TEDx speaker, music maker, and a highly curious student of this whole being-alive thing.
Beekeepers, farmers, storytellers.
That's the line I come from, and it's not just a cute origin story. It's the whole operating system.
From the beekeepers: a respect for cycles and organic intelligence. You can't rush a hive, and you can't rush a soul.
From the farmers: the knowing that growth is mostly invisible. You tend conditions. You trust seasons. The harvest comes when it comes.
From the storytellers: the belief that we learn through story, movement, relationship, reflection, and play, not through being lectured at. People are not machines, and I refuse to treat you like one.
What lights me up is the moment I see a seed in another human: a seed of curiosity that wants to live, wants to grow. My work is creating spaces where that seed gets sun and water: spaces where people feel more connected to themselves, to each other, and to the work they're here to do.
Self-belonging is the whole thing.
Whatever The Soul Mami does, this is underneath it: do you know your soul? And if you know your soul, start expressing it. There's stuff only you came here to express, and we need to see it.
My dream is people living and enjoying life because they know who they are. Giving that self to themselves, and to the world. In a world that profits from your self-forgetting, remembering who you are is a radical act. I believe in magic, in the unknown, in miracles. And I believe in you being the one you've been waiting for.
How can we feel more alive? That's the question I build everything around.
Bring me any emotion.
I call myself an emotional alchemist because it's literal: give me any emotion and I can work with it: transform it, transmute it, pull the lesson out of it.
Rage, grief, numbness, jealousy, joy that scares you: none of it is too much and none of it is a problem. Emotions are information wearing a costume. I'm very, very comfortable in that territory, which means when you're with me, you get to be too.
