The short version: I only collect what I need to write to you and reply to you, I never sell it, and you can ask me to change or delete it any time.

Who I am
This website is run by Eliana, the Soul Mami ("I", "me"). When this page talks about "your information," it means anything that identifies you, like your name or email address.
What I collect and why
When you join my Garden
You give me your email address and, if you like, your first name. I use them to send you my letters: journal entries, new songs, tools, and news about the Journaling Hive. Signups are stored with Mailchimp, my email service. Every letter has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list.
When you write to me through Let's Talk
You give me your name, your email address, and your message. I use them only to reply to you. The form is handled by Netlify, the company that hosts this website.
When you book a session
Booking links open Calendly, which collects the details it needs to schedule your time with me. Calendly's own privacy policy applies there.
When you simply visit
Like most websites, the servers that host this site keep basic technical logs (such as your browser type and IP address) to keep it running and secure. I may also use Google Analytics to see, in general terms, how many people visit and which pages they read. That helps me make the site better. It uses cookies, and it doesn't tell me who you are.
Music and video players
Some pages include players from Spotify and YouTube. When you press play, or sometimes just when the page loads, those services may set their own cookies and collect information under their own privacy policies.
Who I share it with
Nobody gets your information to market to you. I never sell it or trade it. It's only shared with the services that help me run this site and my letters: Mailchimp (email), Netlify (hosting and the contact form), Calendly (bookings), and Google (analytics). Each of them protects it under their own policies.
How long I keep it
You stay on my list until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you. Messages you send me are kept as long as I need them to reply and follow up, and deleted when they're no longer needed.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from my letters any time, using the link at the bottom of every email.
- Ask to see the information I have about you, or ask me to correct or delete it.
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
To ask for any of these, just send me a note and tell me what you need. I'll take care of it.
Kids
This site is meant for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If anything here changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
